The IJSS Fellowship in Spiritual Social Transformation

IJSS has established the IJSS Fellowship in Spiritual Social Transformation.
In the Fall of 2025, we are expanding to 20 faculty fellowships that explore how to apply indigenous wisdom to address contemporary problems.
Each team of Fellows will facilitate programming that engages the public in discussion of how modern interpretations and applications of Jewish mystical and spiritual texts offer ways to address global issues. To share what we learn, we will host conferences for academics, activists, community members, and thought leaders, with essays and proceedings published by IJSS.
IJSS believes the rich textual and spiritual tradition of Judaism offers ways to understand and address contemporary challenges, which are relevant for all people, including Jews across the spectrum of observance, those interested in the transformative power of spirituality, and people who do not ascribe to any faith tradition.
