Michael Wexler

Michael Wexler is a writer, producer and creator who holds a BA in English Literature from Princeton University and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Kansas City, Missouri where he was a professor for three years. He has published eight books including The Lubavitcher Rebbe’s Transformative Paradigm for the World (Crossroad, 2021) and The Seems (Bloomsbury, 2007, 2008, 2009), a young adult trilogy that explores questions of spirituality, meaning and destiny in a fictional/fantasy setting. He has produced projects and run largescale operations for Bloomsbury Publishing, Doubleday, Microsoft, National Public Radio and served as Executive Director of the Carnegie Museum (https://vineyardtrust.org/property/the-carnegie/) as well as Executive Producer, Exhibitions & Tours for The Jim Irsay Collection (www.thejimirsaycollection.com.) Michael splits his time between Martha’s Vineyard and the Finger Lakes region of Western New York and has been active at the IJSS since its inception . He is the son of Philip Wexler (of blessed memory), Founding Director Emeritus of The Institute of Jewish Spirituality and Society.
