FELLOWSHIP (JUNE – JULY 2021)

In summer 2021, we launched a Social Vision Fellowship pilot, a peer-led weekly discussion on environmentalism through the lens of Jewish spirituality.

PRAISE FOR THE IJSS FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM:

“This fellowship is impactful as it emphasizes engaging with this world, with justice-seeking, and with collective visions. It catalyzes young leaders to approach critical issues and to realize how interconnected these issues are with spirituality.” -Emma Mones (Arizona State University, Barrett Honors College, Music Education).

“Despite my environmental experience, my understanding of eco-mysticism was limited; the same for restorative justice and incarceration. The fellowship facilitates a unique dialogue across disciplines within an inclusive and intellectually stimulating setting. -Madeline David (Columbia University).

Join a Discussion Group

Since the release of Social Vision in 2019, several groups have been formed with the goal of using the book as a guide to discuss contemporary societal issues through the lens of Jewish spirituality and mysticism.

If you are interested in starting a discussion group — either discussed in the book or other social issues beyond the scope of the book — please contact us. Additionally, we would be happy to provide your discussion group with copies of the book at a discounted rate.
